Topman had achieved all they could badging music properties, and needed a platform of their own to drive deeper consumer engagement across multiple channels.
SOLUTION:
FRUKT conceived a concept which brought the audience closer to bands and helped them negotiate a confusing landscape. CTRL invites bands to takeover Topman’s music world for a month, in-store, program a live gig, blog on the CTRL pages and more. FRUKT’s role included concept development, design, partner recruitment, talent sourcing & management, editorial & content creation, and live event management.
RESULTS:
Launched in March 2009, Topman CTRL has already garnered heaps of press coverage from Music Week to The Guardian. The client has achieved a new level of rapport with their audience, with artists authentically ‘mediating’ that conversation. After just one month live the MySpace page had enjoyed over 17,700 unique visits and gained 1750 friends.
